Things are starting to turn around for the Northumberland Stars, who are gearing up for the 2018 Russell Cup Playoffs. The Stars were able to gather a Overtime point against the Tottenham Steam this past weekend on the road. The 8:7 final was a high scoring affair.

The Stars are have been struggling as of late, but look like they have figured out their offence.

Tyler McGregor put the team on his back scoring five points (4g, 1a) to be named the first star. Northumberland also outshot the Steam by 60 - 38 carrying the play.

Joshua Hall had two goals of his own while Tyler Brackin had five assists.

With things looking up for the Stars, they will look to get back in the win column on February 2nd at home hosting the North York Renegades. Puck drop is 7:30pm.
