The Northumberland Stars had their three game win streak snapped in a nail biter on the road. A tight 5:3 loss in Tottenham to the Steam could have went in favour of the Stars if not for some better bounces. By all accounts, the Northumberland squad outplayed Tottenham outshooting them 40-30.

Penalty trouble for the Stars could be blamed for the loss. A slew of penalties in the 2nd period opened the door for the Steam to overtake the favoured Stars club in the match.

Malik Henry had two goals in the match and Tyler McGregor had a single.

Aaron Esposito made 25 saves, giving the Stars a chance to win.

Next up is a match against the Oshawa Riverkings in Oshawa. Stay tuned to our official website for all the latest details on the Stars.
