Northumberland is searching for answers after a slow start to the new year. Despite a respectable 14-14-5 record to sit middle of the pack in the GMHL's South Division, a slight losing skid as the Star's players searching within their selves for an improvement in results.

The latest weekend results saw dropped matches against the Bradford Bulls (5:3) and North York Rangers (6:2).

Both clubs were seeded higher than the Stars in the South Standings, but winnable games for this squad.

The Star's talented roster should be climbing the standings, and will look to turn things around next game against the Oshawa River Kings. The home game takes place Friday, January 26th at 7:30pm.
