The Northumberland Stars split weekend action with two games against the Tottenham Steam and St. George Ravens. Although falling on the wrong end of the score sheet in St. George, the Stars were victorious 4-1 over the struggling Tottenham Steam.

Goaltender Maksim Kuteinikov has continued to impress. He was the first star of the Tottenham victory making 41 saves, only allowing one against. Finding the back of the net included: Henry, Davies, Dueck and Piedra for the Stars.

It has been a shaky start to the season, but the young Northumberland squad has shown flashes of brilliance. The club had to open the season with a brutal 9 game road trip while home ice is yet to be put in the Keeler Centre.

One more road game in London is yet to be played before returning home October 12th for the much anticipated home-opener.

Stay tuned to for all the details.
