Our Vision: The Northumberland North Stars mission is to vie for a Russell Cup Championship in the GMHL as well as to develop, encourage and prepare young athletes to maximize their individual potential. We offer an opportunity for every player to compete at his highest level. We will work with each individual to build their confidence, self-esteem, character and prepare them both physically and mentally. We will create an atmosphere where fun and pleasure will play an everyday role. We will help to train all players to become active learners and not only successful athletes but individuals as well.
Our Program: The Northumberland North Stars offer a program that will help each player reach his goals, whether that be pursing professional, school to play hockey or just simply moving onto the next stage of life:
- 3 practices per week
- Coach bus to each road game, with food supplied
- 42 game regular season, 21 home 21 away
- Pant shells
- Track suit, gym shorts and shirt
- Team building events
- Opportunities to connect with ACHA & SPHL teams through strong ties with those organizations
